I’ve got a tradesman trim but I really dig the LED lights on the higher trim models. If I purchased the LED head and tail lights would there be any reason it wouldn’t work or be an easy swap? IE: similar electrical connections, fitment etc...?

I’m not sure but I’m in the same boat. Have you priced them yet. I can only imagine they will be crazy high. Interested though to know.

If I remember correctly the LED lights for the 1500 Limited were $1500 a piece and you pretty much had to take the front end apart...
The price is likely not much different for the 2500.

There's a lot more going on with the turn-as-you-turn highest trim headlights than just electrical power. But if you're good with the Laramie-level LED headlights, the swap is probably a lot easier and cheaper.

The base Tradesman LED tail and head lights aren’t over the top expensive from Allmoparparts. I know the tail lights are plug and play but I don’t know about the head lights. Anyone do this swap yet?
Parts numbers I’m looking at
68360180AC
68360181AC
68361717AD
68361716AD

This shop has a solution for for the 1500. http://shop.retroshop.us/default.asp I’ve got an email out asking if they have 2500 solution.

I believe to swap the tradesman/bighorn led's, you do need alphaobd or similar to change the light setting to led, but the pigtail plugs are the same.

I stopped by Retro Shop to chat about adding the 2500 LED to my Tradesman. Retro Shop has the plug for the tail lights and the adapter for the headlights. They’re going to install the headlights for me as soon as they get them in and use my truck for their install instructions. Apparently, the base model LED headlights and tail lights are taking a long time to ship. MOPAR is limiting two sets per purchase.
