So anyone that tows a lot and has a lift kit on a 3500 what do you recommend as far as hight and tires. I would like to do a 6” lift and 37” tires and looking to tow a fifth wheel. Im curious if there is any problems with that set up. I know a smaller tire would be better but with a 1,000 lbs of torque i don't think it should make that much of a difference and unfortunately they do not make gears for a 2020 3500 yet. Also curious if hight would be a problem. Thanks for any help

If you are going to run like that you have to lift the camper as well otherwise your bed sides will get destroyed.... even stock some trailers are way to close to the bedrails if you want to tow a camper your best bet is a bumper pull.... the lift and tires are fine for towing most loads power wise

I would personally never lift a truck 6" and run 37's if i intended to tow. It can be done, but those things do not mix well. If this is a 5th wheel of any appreciable size, its not a good recipe. Having the Aisin does make it slightly easier on components... but if you tow frequently, the transmission is going to take a beating.

Current truck bed heights often exceed the leveled trailer options in stock form.

Trying to tow a fifth wheel with a 6" lift and 37" tires is, no personal insult intended, insanity.

You would have to lift the fifth wheel 6" and the CG is going to be ridiculous.

Its pretty common around here to lift the trailer have yet to see one flipped from too high CG fyi but i agree either you tow a 5th wheel or you lift the truck in my mind no combining the 2
