I am towing about 10k and have 27k miles. ABS Recall and U connect issue fixed under warranty. Lets hear your happy camper mileage stories. Who has the most mileage on their 2022 6.4 hemi?

'21 PW and about to hit 80K miles.
Pulled a small trailer full of gear for pitting a off road race truck down in Baja.
Lots of road miles and about 1/3 of off road miles.

hi... 2022 Laramie 37567 miles one clock spring replaced under warranty other than that drives and rides like a champ:cool:most ive ever carried was my 700 pd atv

2022 Mega-Hemi Limited with Ramboxes. 45089 miles. No hitch or puck holes installed in the bed and a virgin receiver hitch. I do have a hitch, but it's still in the box.
It kinda just hauls my ass, sometimes the wife, some groceries...a 37" spare in the bed and a few tools in the boxes. I have moved some furniture and boxes a couple of times.

My 21 PW has almost 36k on her. I bought her primarily for extended family trips. We travel off the beaten path at times and I wanted something simpler and newer than what I had. It will most likely end up pulling a small travel trailer at some point but for now I use it for normal truck work. On a 5 hr trip through the PA mountains in pretty strong crosswinds and some traffic I was averaging around 16 mpg which IMO is very acceptable.

Not sure if this is a 2022 6.4 only but I've had my 2021 since September 2021 and have approx. 16,000 miles, 90% is towing the 5th wheel, most of the winter it sits in the driveway.

2018 PW, so really I guess 4th Gen. But 190,000 miles, live off road, and one of my businesses is off road creating subdivisions. So it gets used day to day for off grid living, Estate Sale business, used to tow a camper 7K sometimes, up to 15K in heavy equipment, and used as a dump truck off road towing a 16K dump trailer( easily the worst abuse) Done some casual wheeling on moderate trails, but usually prefer the smaller rigs. Had a dent from doing Black Bear however, and the rock sliders have little paint left. It has maybe 150+ off road recoveries under its belt, some easy, some horror shows. It has not been reliable in the grand scheme of things, and hoping the 2019 and newer are that much more reliable, especially knowing transmission wows are off the table as of 2019.

The Good;

1. Pretty reliable electronics
2. Strong diffs and front end, will take real abuse
3. Solid Axles
4. Triple locked with LSD when open
5. Size for what I do
6. Towing, not sure where the rating comes from but it is a solid tow rig
7. Cooling system capability, good luck overheating
8. Uconnect
9. Interior design, of course
10. Improvements over prior years on reliability
11. Winch ( needs wireless option, and synthetic line came in 2019)
12. T Case, smooth as butter and manual
13. Gearing, you can always want more off road, but this set up gets it done. Have even tried other rigs doing the dump truck thing off road and it was downright terrifying with less gearing.

The Bad;

1. Horrific Transmission (pre ZF) Was in limp mode by 60K, gear spacing kills you towing up big hills.
2. Exhaust Manifold and lifter issues ( my engine is toast due to that)
3. Garage Door Opener never really worked well
4. No power in bed ( probably been fixed since)
5. Limited Tie Downs ( Ram Boxes get you a system)
6. Exhaust set up
7. Needs 35s stock
8. Fuel mileage, of course
9. No Bed Step ( again, cheap solution since)
10. Rock Rails should be standard ( now an option)
11. Excessive recalls
12. Important things like Door and grab handle rip out easily due to no bolts ( upgraded grab is better but still needs tightened)
13. Rear Bed plastic trim design gets pealed off
14. Sway bar disconnect never worked, rusted solid new and no warranty
15. Front locker required a 3,000.00 box be installed to over ride the nannies so it would work at all. ( not sure if that was re-worked but system appears way different now)
17. Cheap, plastic exploding radiator
18. The terrible Dura Trash tires ( been told they have been upgraded since)IMG_20240917_150944464.jpg

2021 CCSB with 30k on the clock. Has pulled the 5er a fair amount and does it well. It’s no saint on fuel but it rides nice and does truck things.

Did you add airbags or is the suspension stock?

Suspension is stock. I read a lot about adding air bags, but I have never needed them. That photo is all of 15K and truck is sitting flat. That being said, user experience might be different with say an RV as the weight gets pushed to the sides and they tend to wiggle more. But towing in the 11-15K range I have never had the slightest wiggle with heavy equipment. I had some bad experiences with very light loads, once a culvert sticking too far out( no tongue weight) and once with 3K trailer because a shop slapped on a Monroe shock when the Fox ones failed and it broke instantly. My RV is never over 7K so cannot attest to towing ability for heavier RV. But heavy equipment, dump trailers maxed out, no issues. And that is part of the secret, everything tows differently. 15K of heavy equipment may be safe, but a 15K RV may have you upside down in the ditch.

Very well said..Thx

24 Tradesman - Picked up in July 24.
We're at 16,396 miles as I type this post....probably about a third of those miles were hooked to a car hauler dragging one of my minitrucks around the country.
Stock everything, down to the transforce tires...she's been the best towing companion...makes cool sounds and gets what I need done in comfort.

'19 Laramie, 6.7 - 18,000 Miles.

Sits on jack stands in storage most of the year while I'm at work overseas and come home once a year, maybe. When Im home it's my daily driver for a few weeks and tows the Jeep from Phoenix to southern Utah.

I had paint correction, tint, and spray-in bed liner done when new. CP3 recall was done in 2022. And have no plans for anything else though I am open to see what my local diesel shop suggests for engine longevity and reliability.
