Left License Plate Lamp Fell Out - Anyone Else Had This Happen?

Noticed this (see photo below) while shoveling snow this morning. The temperature has been cold the last few days and was -10* F this am although the truck stays in the garage. In the second photo I've circled where the plastic broke from its mount behind the bumper. I was going to run it to the dealership as a warranty, but see that I can get the part for around $25 so I'll probably just do it myself. This happen to anyone else? Kind of an odd thing to break.

I got 2 sitting in my garage collecting dust. New bumper I had to buy came with them.
Just pay shipping.

Maybe gave it a kick stepping on the bumper climbing into the bed? I can say I’ve climbed up into the back in the same way.

I had to replace my left side one also, but I thought mine was broken by the dealer when they replaced the bumper pre-delivery…. Now it has me wondering…. Mine broke in the exact same spot.

Glad it worked out.
Just paying it forward.
Had to buy a new bumper and found a complete one cheaper than buying a metal one from the dealer. So I took the lights off my old one just in case.
