Laramie seats in a tradesman

I recently purchased a 2024 tradesman and seats from a 2023 Laramie. I swapped the seats over and the passenger seat works fine. Drivers seat worked once until I started the vehicle. The new seats have heat, cool and memory. I do not have the door memory switch. Looks like the xy connector under the drivers seat has all but 3-4 wires and they appear to go to pedal position. I have Jscan. Can I enable everything I need with that or will I need alfaobd?

If the truck didn't originally have memory, you'll likely have some wires in different pins on the XY410a (yellow one under seat) and XY415A (white, supply to seat back) connectors. And the D2285A connector for the power seat switch is different than the ones for the memory seats.

Well i looked in alldata and all my wire colors are correct. Only thing that is missing from them is the mirror position wires. The pedal position and movement wires are there and according to alldata they appear to be correct. Going to try and purchase alpha obd and see what happens.

Sorry I meant the connectors on the new seat that connect to the truck's existing body harness connector (XY410A). The ones that are for the memory seat. I had to repin some of mine to make it work. I would say just compare each side of the connector (male and female sides) to confirm each wire matches from one side to the other. I know the seat back supply wires are different as well between the power non-memory seats and the power memory seats. That's the XY415A connector. Make sure you confirm that on alldata as well.

But yeah, if you've already looked through it on alldata you should be good

Last night i got home from work purchased alphaobd for one of my android tablets. I got in the truck and before i could even hook it up i tried the seat and it moved. Started the truck and still worked. Connected my tablet figured out where the settings are in alpha and checked everything that was in one of Jimmys posts. There is no heated or cooled functions yet on the radio but waiting to see if some key cycles will change that. also did the memory seat test and it failed but did move the seat back and forth up and down.

Went camping this weekend and my wife was going through the settings on the drive. So the memory seat exit and entry work guessing with the RKE because I do not have the door panel switch. Only thing still not showing up is the soft switches on the radio. Someone on another site mentioned that the CustSetMenu 1: auto on comfort CSM present Feature 2-3 option is for heated seat??? if so does that mean that heated cooled should be 1-2 option?? Thanks for any help!!
