Laramie Bench Layout

Might have found a 22 3500 Laramie enroute to a dealer within range. Has most of what I'd want, but is a 40/20/40 Bench up front. I know exactly how the Center Console is setup on my 19. And had a 16 Tradesman Power Wagon (bench). I'm not as set on the console after living with it for 1.5 years, but don't know and can't go look at a new one with a bench yet.

So how's it laid out?
3 cupholders in armrest/seat back/storage console
Under seat storage?
CD Player taking up room?
Floor console?
Powered USBs vs Data USBs?
etc?

No cd player and i dont think the storage under the seat is there anymore either

To be honest i thought the larimine came standard with the console lol
 
There is under seat storage, no CD player, a small plastic divider tray on the floor, and a usb plug in the armrest storage.
 
I specifically ordered a laramie with a bench. Like others said under seat storage will be there. I put what I don’t want to get flipped around down there. Everything else goes up top. There’s a usb and 3 cup holders. You also get additional storage on the floor as well as a big drawer/cubby in the lower part of the dash under the aux switches.
 
I am very happy with my split bench, even in the poverty Bighorn trim.

I ordered mine with a bench too. Wouldnt have it any other way.








 
Would not buy one without a bench, however don't understand why the HD's don't have the 1500 bench seats with a normal seatbelt and some sort of a headrest.....lap belt and no headrest seems pretty 80's!!1639010394061.png
 
Nobody is going to sit in the center seat on my truck except the puppers, except if absolutely necessary. Barely any knee room with how close it sits to the center stack, plus the floor shifter in my truck. As such, I added the larger floor console from a 4th Gen, which adds 3 more cup holders and a storage tray!

Im gonna have to look for the storage tray thats a good idea i currently keep my M18 charger there to keep my road tool batteries charged but a tray would be nice

The occasional kid or someone going just for going up the ski hill (10 minute drive)...have had a kid there for 5 hour trip a couple of times....but yes the dog mostly or my arm ;). The function, safety and chair just seems way nicer in the 1500's.

Want to install the Mini Floor Console from the 13-18 trucks

Has anyone tried installing a jumpseat out of a 5th gen 1500 into a 4.5 gen 2500/3500 That originally came with the jumpseat? If so, how did it go?

We also ordered bench in the Laramie. 2022 3500. Had buckets in our 2017. Bench seats appear to be same buckets minus giant counsel. Real comfortable and beautiful in fawn and mtn brown instead of standard black. Tons of complements on set up. Would like to get scotch guard or something. Any ideas on that? Thanks.
