Thanks. Once I get one of those cables I'll give this another try.

If KAOdTECH is OOS, Infortainment/OBDGenie have one that's readily available. Make sure you add the right one (HD cable) to your cart. Their site/link/pull down options are a little wonky.

2018+ Security Gateway Bypass Device

This device is required to program 2018 and newer Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and RAM vehicles. Our Bypass Device connects the wires between the security gateway module and the vehicle’s computer. Security is then deactivated, and the OBD Genie can be installed.

The only thing is doesn't have is the OBDLink app with the extra Cummins/diesel PID's already available that come with the MX+
