Jitters on cold start

Don't know if this has been mentioned before, here's the issue...

After a cold startup, and during the beginning of the drive, when I start braking for the first time I get a fore and aft jitter until I come to a stop. It's like the engine is surging against the tranny.

Imagine this.... you're in a manual in first gear at idle speed, then you brake slightly, now the engine speed is working against the tranny speed so it jitters

I've concluded that this situation also produced the stall maybe 3 or 4 times (since owning) coming to a stop... which also caused an error message with the trans and thus having to put it in park before restarting the engine

Is there a TSB for this? Is this a tranny problem?

I also noticed during cold startup that the cabin has a shake to it sometimes

You posted in general, and didn't indicate anything about the powertrain.

Gas? Diesel? Trans?

If you have a 6.4, my buddy has a 2019 2500 w/6.4 that had what sounds like the same issue, and just had it reflashed. So far it seems to have resolved it.
