Good day. New to forum and considering moving up to a diesel powered ram 2500. I pull a 30 ' tow trailer and ram may become my every day driver as I as trying to consolidate vehicles, Sell 2 and move into one. I presently have a ram w/ hemi but am not familiar with the diesel powertrain. Looking at a vehicle 21 or newer. Any and all input, information, experiences (good and bad) would be appreciated. as well as pros cons recall issues what to look for in 2nd hand vehicle. Looking forward to meeting any and all of you fellow ram drivers. Thank you in advance for your guidance and assistance. Be well, Regards.

Welcome, if you do a search on the topics with keywords. You will find a great deal of real world info and occasionally a good dirty joke. Enjoy

Hi. We looked at the 2500 diesel, but payload wasn't much more than my Expedition. We tow a 29' trailer that is about 8500#s loaded. We want to be able to put generator, kayak, bikes etc in the bed, and not worry about what's in the trailer. Just took delivery of a limited 3500 megacab - loving it so far.
