All, Twice this year now I have experienced a very short duration (less than 5 seconds) situation where after decelerating without braking, when I get back into the throttle, I have no power. I hear a slight change in engine noise but no rpm increase. After I release and reapply pedal 2 - 3 times off we go! It's like transmission did not downshift as truck slowed down but it's so short term I haven't been able to verify that by looking at transmission display. Has anyone else experienced this? I,ve looked through all the forums but haven't seen any similar posts.

Could be the turbo actuator getting ready to take a dirt nap too.

Possibly, however, since there was no rpm increase when I pressed foot pedal, just a little change in engine sound, I'm still wondering if it was transmission related as in still in higher gear. I keep reading about 68RFE valve body's having some fluid pressure leak over to OD clutch as well as Trans control module just getting confused occasionally so just hoping someone on here has seen this and can offer some information.
