Installing a rear view camera on the back of my slide in camper for use with a 2024 3500 with Surround-View

When I had my '16 3500 Limited SRW, I had gathered the parts that came inside the tailgate and made a backup cam to be used when we had our camper on the truck. Sucks not being able to see behind you.
Well, with my new '20 3500 Limited DRW, the camera setup from the '16 will not work on the new truck. So I sourced parts from Ram and from an online vendor that sells a housing and cable that would allow me to retain the backup cam for the surround view when our camper is on the truck. I don't have it installed on the camper yet. Just got all the parts and tested it out. Works like a charm...

I'm wondering if there is any updated information. Specifically, the recommended camera part number from that thread is 68417514AA. When I do a search for 68417514AA sometimes cameras with part number 68144068AC come up. If I do a search for "68417514AA" and "68144068AC" many websites list them as interchangeable or one superseding the other. The 68144068AC can be purchased for a lot cheaper than the 68417514AA.

Has anyone tried the 68144068AC or know why it would/wouldn't work on a 2024 3500 with Surround-View?

I thought I'd post a follow-up for anyone else that is adding a backup camera to their camper. I purchased a 68144068AC camera and it works. I haven't compared if the field of view or if the connection angle is the same as the one in my tailgate but it seems to work fine for my use.
