Last week I recently purchased a brand new 2023 ram 2500 with the 6.4 Hemi. The truck was sitting on the lot for the last two years had 14 miles on it and they gave me a $27,000 discount. Plus a $20,000 trade-in on My truck, so I ended up getting it out the door for $35,000 after taxes and license .

The truck has the stock 20 inch rims with approximately 33 inch tires.

I had 9 inches of clearance in the rear of the truck and I had 7 inches of Clarence in the front of the truck when I pulled it off the lot last week

The overall project took approximately 2 1/2 hours. it was extremely easy to perform as long as you’ve got some basic tools.

Some tips.
1. My 3 ton jack stands weren’t tall enough for the truck in it’s original height so I had to come up with 4 inch blocks underneath in order to get the truck high enough so I could lower the front end down low enough to pull out the front springs.

2. You literally just disconnect two brake lines on each side and disconnect at the sway bar, then pull out the front shock and then lower down the front end.

3. I did the whole thing with two 3 ton jackstands and one 6 ton jack.

Overall, I was very impressed with a ride quality after the conversion. It is nowhere near as bouncy as the stock form. No wobble that I can tell of. no, I did not replace the track bar, but I will be getting an adjustable one in the near future

I’m extremely happy with the overall height. Right now my truck sits exactly 42 inches and 3/4 at both the front and the rear fenderwells. I have approximately 9 inches of travel front and rear.

I ended up purchasing the kit from American truck for $545.

I hope this information helps somebody who is possibly on the fence. It’s not as expensive as a Carly kit. But it sure seems to function quite well at this point.

Thank you for your time have a great day

I've got the same kit sitting in my garage waiting to be put on (just showed up about 2 days ago).
How long did the install take you?
Any difficulty getting things into place? Such as springs seated, bolts to line up, etc?

I considered having someone put mine on. They said they'd do it for $200 which seems like a great price. The only issue is that I'm kind of on his timeline for install if I do that. I've done a ton of lifts and leveling kits before so I know I can do it. I just don't look forward to fighting with springs and stuff, trying to squeeze them into the perch, like I had to do with the coilovers on my 1500. Since the 2500 is a solid axle though, I wonder if it would be as easy as my Jeep was where I simply lowered the axle and just set them in.

Any take-aways from your installation?

Oh, and any photos directly from the side now that it's done?
How's the measurements after alignment and a few miles to "settle" everything?
I have 2.5" rake, and I'm hoping the kit only does the 2" they say it does. I've seen some venders call it 2.5 though, but I want a little rake so I've got my fingers crossed and a 1" rear kit in my wishlist in case I need it.
