We have 2022 2500 Limited w/ Hemi. Not 4.10 gears. We have been full time RV’ing for 18 months pulling a 5th wheel (max weight 11,900) with no issues so far. We live in NC and have pulled up mountains a few times. Last summer we traveled to Colorado and back. Right now we are in Billings, MT heading to Yellowstone & Grand Tetons this week. So I will have more info after those travel days, Then we are off to Mt Zion, Lake Tahoe and Grand Canyons before heading home. Would Diesel truck have been better… in some cases but most of our use was expected to be not pulling RV, then mostly pulling it to the beach when we did, thus we chose Hemi. Good luck with you decision.Morning!
Wanted to get some input on from you guys on the the 3500 with the 6.4 Hemi. I’m coming from a 2020 Rebel Eco with 3.93 gears. I’ve just outgrown the truck in regards to payload demands. I don’t tow enough to warrant the added cost the Cummins entails.
How are you all liking the 6.4 for overall day today/reliability. I test drove a 2025 Big Horn 3500 yesterday and was quite impressed.its equipped with Night Edition and the Level 2 plus. With factory discounts and negotiation I got them at 82,327CAD with running boards, flaps and leveling kit.
