I was wondering what kind of air gauge chuck do I need to check air pressure on the inner tires on my 2022 dually. Stock wheels have a plastic extension on them and my gauges don’t work it has what appears to have a valve on the end of it.

Do you not have the tire pressure display on your instrument cluster? Mine shows all 6.

Yes. Will it adjust right away? My old truck did not. The dealer put 80 lbs in all tires so I’m letting a lot of air out. This is my first dually and I haven’t seen a extension like that in a long time don’t remember how they work.

I have to drive down the road a bit for mine to adjust.

80 in front. 65 in rear. Look to see if you have the tire fill alert. It helps you get the pressures where you want them. The light flash and horn sounds. Watch this video:

Thanks for the information everyone.
I found my problem. I live in Northern Wisconsin so it’s cold now and my shed is not continuously heated so all my tire gauges are cold. The valve extenders are a bit larger than regular valve stem I had to push gauge with a lot more force than normal because the rubber in the gauge was so stiff. I will keep where it’s warm now. Thanks for the information which is always valuable.
