Had this happen to me for the first time while driving back from FL to TN on JAN 2nd 2025. I have a 2020 2500 Laramie (60K miles) with the 8.4" display. The infotainment went blank with no radio / apple carplay, as well as the dash display. There was no power to either screen. The analog gauges continued to work (Spedo, Tach ,fuel, def etc. This happened on I-75 in the heart of Atlanta traffic (Google Maps was being used). The whole event lasted about maybe 30 seconds and it came back to life like nothing happened. No reboot screen or any other indications that it was rebooting or powering back on. Like a switch was toggled off, and then back on. The roads were in good condition, so there were no pot holes or anything that was hit that caused this. It was not raining nor had it been raining. It was just a random event on a dry day with smooth roads. Thank god the trucks engine didn't shut off in Downtown Atlanta. Anyone that has driven that stretch of road knows what that is like. If this has happened to anyone else and you figured out what it was, let me know please.

I've experienced similar on my 12" screen 3 or 4 times over the last 4 years, however if I recall correctly, mine stayed off each time until I stopped and restarted the truck. It has been so infrequent and since I could never reproduce, I just chalked it up to being a covid truck (also a 2020).

The same thing happened to me with my 2022 PW and the 12" screen. It's had two or three glitches where it went blank like yours, another time the screen pixellated, and another time the sound coming from the speakers was an annoying raspy buzz. They all cleared up on their own although the blank screen didn't restart until I shut the truck down. There was a recent recall where they had to install a patch to the infotainment system because sometimes the computer wouldn't recognize the back-up camera. I had the local dealer install the patch and haven't had any issues with my infotainment system since.
