A lot of us have had our issues with local dealers, myself included. Which is why I decided to try another one further away just based on ratings. I only go once a year for the oil changes Mark Dodge talked me into, LOL. With the '22 I wanted to be sure it was looked at regularly by Ram the first few years. And it turns out that was the right move. While there for the oil change I had my 4 recalls done. Grid heater relay, something with the ABS software, radio software update and the particulate matter sensor. To my surprise they took care of all 4 that day and I didn't have the PM sensor factory installed. Further to my surprise they took care of additional warranty items I didn't know about. Apparently the left blend door actuator was seized. Had no idea, but I think it's heat related and not much use for that in FL. Passenger front axle seal was leaking. There are no drips on my garage floor so I assume it must be something they frequently see and replaced it. Anyway, want to post a positive dealer experience for a change. Really made my day that they took good care of me. Hopefully I'm not back here in a few days complaining about something they messed up! :D
 
Good dealers should be called out. They deserve to be rewarded. From a fair deal to good service they are truly out of place these days. I am doing some work for a former franchise owner right now, and he says he can make a deal for me still at another dealer, but I bet it wont be as good knowing this area. The last time I nearly flew out of state, this time Mark Dodge is impressing me and that may be the way to go. I would love to see a behind the scene books comparison between dealers who have 6 week waits for service, and terrible service through out combined with the highest mark ups, to these seemingly regional dealers that just crank out sales through being fair and providing great service. I cannot believe no other salesman is on these forums, what a captive group of customers this provides.
