I've gone ahead and installed a Phoenix radio primarily because of the lack of full screen with Android Auto. The Phoenix radio is mostly good but I'm wanting better camera input so I'm trying to identify the wires going into the old uconnect box.

1000001748.jpgFrom what I can find the main green/blue connections are the canbus connector.
The red connector is the rear camera?
The bottom green connector are the wifi/Bluetooth antennas.
The blue connector is the main radio (am/fm) antenna.
But I don't know what the 3x white connectors are. The one on the bottom right has 4 pins (so I suspect it's the 4 cameras (front, left, right, 3rd brake light)). What are the other 2 for?
What are the black connectors for?
Thanks for any help!

Green and blue main connectors are for main power, speakers, canbus.
Red is for backup camera, or if equipped with surround view, rear, front, sides, and cargo camera.
Bottom double green is BT/Wifi.
Blue port is SXM/GPS.
White port next to the blue one is am/fm radio.
Cream port next to red is in vehicle entertainment.
White on the bottom is the LVDS that links the radio module to the display screen.
Brown is USB media hub/telematics box.
Black is the Ethernet block for full digital cluster and passenger screen display.

Well crap. So all the cameras are on the red connection? I have 360 surround, so if the red is for all 5 cameras there should be some central box they all feed into and the red wire comes out with them all combined.
Any idea where that box is?

I have the same unit. What connects into the cream colored camera outlet?Next to the red camera outlet? Could you connect a cargo camra too that?

Also, i've seen this same head unit that has the empty box filled in with a maroon one. What is the maroon connector used for?

Yes but what is that? What is in vehicle entertainment?
