Well, I ended up replacing my wipers in the freezing rain last night because the rubber had frozen to the windshield. Fortunately I had a spare set of blades in the garage.

It is so cold in Alberta we don't get ice but dry snow, I just use a leaf blower to clear the snow off the driveway and truck, only takes a few minutes.

How so? We get freezing rain all the time never had to replace wipers from it. Just clean the wipers off or put a piece of plastic wrap on the windshield where the wipers sit so they don't stick to the windshield
