As the title says, I thought I had the factory air suspension on my week old 2021 Laramie 2500 Diesel. I‘m looking at my window sticker and realize I don’t have it. It’s totally my fault as I’ve never bought a pick up before and I built one online and used the “closest model” search thing to find one. I obviously didn’t pay close attention to what I got paired with.
My question is can it be added or is their a better after market set up available? I’m going to tow with it on occasion (7000lbs) and I’m looking to settle the ride down. I noticed when I drove home from the dealer that I wasn’t impressed with the factory air suspension. Turns out I don’t have it. Any guidance would be welcomed.

Get an Air-Lift Loadlifter 5000.

I recommend the Ultimate Plus, stainless and internal jounce so you can run them with no air if needed.

Awesome. Looks like a great alternative. I’m assuming the compressor component is separate and obviously needed. Any recommendations on that? Thanks. Really appreciate the response.

Unless you need on-board air for tools, etc. and want to go wild with a Viaair or other compressor/tank, etc. The wireless 2-channel remote kit is what I would buy. More $$ but worth it IMHO. You DO NOT want a setup that plumbs the two air bags together. I think only the higher end kit or full manual air does that.

I have air lift 5000 on my current truck (2010 ram 2500 gas). Bought them when I levelled the front of my truck. They lift the back level when I tow my fifth wheel. It’s the manual system. I didn’t T the 2 bags together so I fill both separate. Really like them. I purposely didn’t order my new truck with rear air. Nice system but really didn’t want to rely solely on bags. 2500’s they replace coils with bags, 3500’s still have the overloader springs from what I’ve read which is way better. Not sure the air bags will help with ride quality with a truck with springs already but they do help towing IMO. They settle the suspension down quicker after a bump With the trailer on. I will probably put the exact kit on brutal_HO recommended For my new truck. the Manual kit is good but making adjustments easier is what I want. We will see how the new truck handles The trailer.

I'll be installing the AirLift 5000 and plumbing them individually. I had the 1000HD on my 19 1500 BH. For compressore, I have a Milwaukee M12 battery compressor that works awesome! The hose theads onto the schraeder valve and desired pressures is set digitally. set pressure, punch the button, done. Comes with small USB / 120v charger.

Also, If you don't like the ride on your 2500 check the tire pressure. Many dealers leave them aired up at shipping pressure which can be as much as 30psi over recommended pressure.
