I just want to add a switch for fog lights?

I've seen all the threads for aux switches and how to build a wiring harness for a new panel and all that. Believe me, I build wiring harnesses every day for a living in a commercial power industry setting and know my way around crimping, terminations, and heat shrinks.

I just want to add some aftermarket high output LED lights to my winch bumper and have a single switch in the cab to activate them. Or maybe have them wired to the high beams if the circuit can handle the load. So, what is a good power source for driving lights? What is a good location for a good ol' toggle or rocker switch? Any way to wire my fog lights to the high beam circuit so when I hit my brights, the fog lights light up?

Its really easy to have high beam trigger with an interrupter switch but you will want to have a relay in there so you are not pulling load off of the high beam circuit. I don’t have the wire diagrams but someone should be able to tell you what the wire color for the HB circuit is and you should be able to splice in by the PDC.

I ended up ordering the AuxBeam 6-gang panel and will use that for my stuff. I ordered some AuxBeam amber lights for the front bumper, and will need to also add a pair of very bright white 4" square lights. I'm also adding a headache rack to the bed and plan on adding some LED emergency lights as well as rear cargo lights to it.
