AT about 8,000 miles I developed a severe vibration in the front only. I had a local tire shop that sells that brand inspect both front tires. Both front tires developed separation of the inner surface.
I purchased new tires. The local dealer would not warranty the tires called my selling dealer they also declined to warranty the tires. Submitted a claim to Nexen on 1-02-2018. Never was able to resolve with Nexen.
Fast forward to 2022 my brother had purchased a 2021 Ram 3500 about 10,000 miles. His factory supplied tires failed. On exploded damaging the fender and rim and trim ring.
He has received confirmation. from Nexen that they will warranty the tires. They say his tires were damaged. by road damage not a defective tire.
Given the similarity i intend to pursue. my original claim. I think others must have had front tire failures also.

Good luck. They have deep pockets, will probably fight to prevent litigation.

It's been 5 years. I would move on and not worry about the cost of a set of tires long since replaced.

At this point you will likely be dismissed. Usually you dont wait 5 years to try for litigation

Its not about the money for me.
I had moved on long ago.
Its about the same Ram equipped truck 4 years newer having the same tire failure.

His exploded from a road hazard you had a shifted belt that is in no way the same tire failure…

The common denominator is Ram 3500 with Cummins, Nexen Tires mounted to the front no rear wheel failures. All four front tires failed one catastrophically.
