2022 Ram 2500 6.4 Litre Tradesman With 8" U-Connect touchscreen. 99k miles

I went on a 5 day vacation and returned with no AC to HVAC controls. When I turn the truck on, I can hit the on button, and it will blow lukewarm at my feet and only at one speed. Also the AC cluth will kick on and off and I can turn the HVAC system off and or on. All button work on the stack and in the radio but nothing mechanical happens. I can set it at the lowest or highest setting but nothing happens. I can adjust the fan speed but nothing happens. I can change the location of the air blowing but nothing happens. I think its an HVAC control module because its the middleman between everything. Its getting input but its not outputting the commands the radio and stack switches is telling it to do. I checked fuses and their all good. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

That’s a tough one, not commonly reported. Get it to the dealer (under warranty hopefully) and let us know the outcome.

Well, since the solution for a lot of our problems seems to be open up the fuse box push all the fuses and relays down tight I’d give that a try first. Also pull any fuse that controls the climate control module and leave it for 10 minutes or so. I was highly sceptical of this, until it recently fixed a whole slew of problems I was having.

certainly can’t hurt to check.

I was driving down the highway and everything came back online randomly today.

Super common when Uconnect has an over the air update.

HVAC and other controls are temporarily disabled. Usually 24 hours later everything is back to normal.
