HVAC blend door actuator reset?

Good afternoon

I haven’t seen a discussion on this but is there a procedure to reset the blend door actuators on the 2019+ trucks? My hvac is always flowing out of the defrost even when it’s not supposed to and this has been my main complaint with the climate is the airflow control.

my neighbor has a Honda accord and she asked me to check the heat because it wasn’t coming out one side and she ended up doing a blend door actuator reset on it before I got a chance to look at it. This got me thinking about mine

Yeah Honda's do have that ability, haven't seen one for RAM. BTW, there's a known issue for the 2019-2020 trucks where the A/C & heat acts up. I has similar issues and had the TSB done, world of difference

I opted to skip that TSB I already have a rattly interior and many reported not much difference after. You had good luck with it? O don’t think my truck qualifies anymore it’s now 5+ years old

THere is an actuator recalibrate procedure. It's been a while, but if I recall it's under the HVAC module in Alfa OBD.

Dang I don’t have Alfa or a laptop but if this is true I may be motivated to pursue this

Yeah no issues with hvac since doing it, no rattles now either. Had one occasional rattle but it went away shortly after having it done.
