Howdy from Wyoming - 2018 RAM 3500 ST Diesel 4x4

Howdy all,

I just bought a used 2018 RAM 3500 ST Diesel 4x4 and drove it back from the used truck dealer in Colorado. This is my first diesel vehicle and first 1T pickup truck. Bought it for the 5th wheel towing since we bought horses and my old Jeep Wrangler wasn't exactly going to tow a horse trailer.

I love advice and well-intentioned feedback!

As for my initial improvement plans... for now, I ordered 6" running boards, a tailgate step, WeatherTech floor liners, and new air filters (engine and cabin). Looking for some nice seat covers presently.

Any suggestions as to "things to check/replace" now that I've bought the used truck?

I’d start fresh with a full service, based on miles. Piece of mind for use of quality fluids/filters. Restart the maintenance clock too, who knows what previous maintenance was done to it and correctly for that matter.

2018 is a great year for these trucks. No real issues.

As mentioned above, go through and do a full fluid and filters change. Otherwise, drive and enjoy.
