How to shut off low tire pressure light?

Did you also reduce the pressure in the tires below 52 PSI?

With the factory setting of 65, the warning light will come on below 52 (20%).

But if the new settings of 55/60 actually took, the light would turn on at 44/48 respectively.
Thanks! Tires have not been below 55/60. As far as I can tell the new settings took place.

What preset PSI did you set your tires to in the STFA programing? I changed mine from 65 all the way around to 55 front and 60 rear. I haven't received any warnings yet, but I just accomplished this task yesterday and have only driven my truck about 15 miles today.

So, I've had my warning light on for about 2 weeks..ever since the new wheels/tires went on. The fronts are at 50psi and the rears are at 40psi. I can use the UConnect to create profiles easy enough...but it seems to not actually "take"....and my warning light and center dash screen warning are still on and still saying to inflate to 65psi.

There's obviously several variable's involved. I have new TPMS sensors (the factory sensors stayed in the factory wheels), but the truck is reading the new sensors just fine. And the warning came on immediately with the new tires. I can save a STFA profile of 40 front and 30 rear, and also a second profile of 50 front and 40 rear, and it doesn't matter which one I touch "apply" on....nothing happens and my warning stays the same.

That was my experience as well. I have always suspected those who report that this works just never had their pressure go below the 20% threshold.

That was why I made the change using AlfaOBD and now have my threshold set to 35 PSI. Now if my tires get below 28, the light turns on and the EVIC tells me to inflate to 35. My SFA presets are 40/45 and 50/58, but have no bearing on the TPMS, they just help when adding air having the truck alert me that it's time to move to the next tire.

Thank you sir, that is exactly what I suspected.

The AlfaOBD seems ok...but I'm an iPhone/Apple guy....so I don't really want to mess with an android mobile device or a pc. Can you list out exactly what I would need to make AlfaOBD work, if I currently have an iPhone and Macbook? lol!!

Or I may just wait until the AEV ProCal Snap is available again....

I should note…I do have a Windows PC and know how to use it…..

If you don't want to procure an Android device to use and don't want to use your laptop, then I think your only options are to wait for the ProCal or go with the Tazer.

Or if you live near someone else who already has an android and alfaobd, you may be able to work out something with them (would need to buy or borrow the bypass cable and obd dongle though too).

Could it be the Aftermarket Sensors? Or did your purchase MOPAR Sensors? I kept my Factory Sensors to maintain the Factory Warranty. There are hundreds of different sensors on the market so you have to ensure you purchased the correct ones if you went Aftermarket.

Have you tried to air the tires to factory settings to see if the warning light will go off? If it goes out I would assume you have installed the correct sensors. If your STFA isn't taking the new settings then I believe the warning light will stay on because of the low 40psi in the rear tires.

Lots of trial and error.....
