2026 Ram rebel with the powder coated OEM bumpers. Just had them off and man oh man are they thin and flimsy. You can easily pick them up with one hand and they can’t even support their own weight. Last truck was a 2019 with Chrome bumpers and at least those ones didn’t twist when you lifted them. At what point are they gonna stop this? These bumpers look solid but feel like if you sneeze they’ll get dented. Sadly I prefer the OEM look to anything aftermarket for solid bumpers. 100k on a truck and they can’t even build them solid any more. End rant, thank you for coming to my ted talk.

They are VERY weak. I caved mine in after bumping into a car at a stop light. Didn't hardly put a scratch on that car. After that I went full on Ranchhand front and rear bumper replacement. Wont happen again.

OEM bumpers aren’t build to hold their shape, but rather to deform in an impact. If you want solid, you’ve gotta go aftermarket.

You can thank the NHTSA and their modern crash test standards. You’ll live, but the vehicle won’t.
