How many miles do you drive before changing the oil, and have you had lifter issues? Also, how many miles on your truck?

2019 3500 HD with Aisin tranny. 7500 mile oil changes with Rotella T6 5-40. 131,000 miles and no mechanical issues. It's been a solid truck. I did have the fuel pump recall done and had the radio quit working but that was fixed under warranty. I've been doing an Archoil treatment about once a year and getting only the 24 hour regens. Fingers crossed it lasts as long as my 04 @ 472,000 miles and still going strong when I sold it.

I had valve train noise issues with my oil changes done every 5K and then it only showed up around 12K, it happed approx. 300 miles after an oil change when I switched to 10w30 synthetic oil instead from 5w40 synthetic oil at recommended by the dealer when I found out that was a big mistake and can say the noise did quite down some about 1K after an oil change using Amsoil best 5w40...

Lifter issue strictly, or valve train issue? Valve train issue seems alot more common then the physical hydraulic lifter themselves.

Either . I'm seeing if there is any correlation between the oil change intervals and lifter/valve train failures. In newer jeeps there seems to be an issue, and some of their engine are sensitive to oil changes, as.well as oil weights.
