I'm not sure what to call this part of the truck, but I'm wanting to remove it so that I can drill holes through the plastic and securely mount a RAM Tough Track with bolts and washers from the underside. To clarify I'll be drilling where the quarter is in the picture below. My truck is a 2022 Power Wagon. I'm hoping this is easy to accomplish and I wont end up with rattling interior panels once I am done. RAM makes a Tough Track that is the perfect size to fit on the flat part of that cubby hole so I was a little surprised that I couldn't find anyone else who has done this yet.
I'd love to hear the experiences of anyone who has removed all of the stuff required to get that part out. Thanks in advance!
