I have looked on the forum feeds but didn't see this listed. I have a 2021 Ram Longhorn limited 3500 SW.
1-The horn is not very load so looking at a replacement, but I can't find where the horn is located. Not sure if it is between the fender and the plastic inner liner or not.
2- Any of you pulling a newer camper that has the backup camera attachment on the trailer. I was wondering what camera you have used that will interface with the big screen in the dash. I have read that there have been some problems trying to get the camera connected to the screen on some camping forums. Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks.

To my knowledge there is no way to make the after market camera systems work with the in-dash screen. I use a Furrion S7 system qnd the separate screen that came with it. If you have a pre-wire on your campe4, that's probably what it's set up for. Note that out of the box, these will not wo4k with your truck. Just like with GMC/Chevy, the trailer light circuit doesn't send enough current to power the cameras. What you need to make them work is this:

It's just a short cable that sits between the trucks 7 pin connector and the trailers cable.

For the display screen I use this:

Thanks so much for your input. On the Vilano forum someone said they got a camera to work on the big screen but in looking they bought a different system than the furrion and they still had to use a separate screen. I have an old camera but it's 10 yrs old so there is new technology on these new ones. Mine keeps loosing signal so I quit using it.

The Furrion system uses WiFi direct and I haven't had any signal problems on my 30 footer.
FYI, attached are a couple of pictures showing the screen mounted in my truck. The bullet point mount uses the existing screw holes in the area next to the 12 volt outlet.

I have the 7 inch screen which is a mixed blessing. It's nice to have to big screen but obviously...it's a big screen. I think you can get th3m as small as 4 inch. Besides backing up, I use the system while driving as a rear view mirror to see what's behind the trailer.20220628_172522.jpg20220628_172605.jpg

I am looking at solutions to mount the Furrion S7 to my rear view mirror and wiring in to the overhead console while towing as that is pretty well useless when hooked. The dash mount is ok but gets cluttered/busy IMO.

One of you 3D printer folk need to make us up something. I would gladly send some money for a nice piece.
