I have a 2020 Ram PW. 60K miles. Running 37's and have a 1.5 inch level kit from thuren. Everything else is stock. I literally just got new tires and still have this same issue going on with hopping / surging feeling. It was happening before with the old tires and is still happening with the new tires. The old tires were all chopped up with terrible uneven wear and couldnt get balanced. The new tires seem good and balanced. But, I'm thinking this surging is actually coming from the transmission or transfer case... but I honestly dont know. This happens on regular flat paved roads. Sometimes it sort of feels like it is coming from the suspension. Any ideas? I just got a transmission service kit to change the fluid and pan/filter. Maybe that will help.

Hard to say without driving it. But tires are the #1 suspect in what you describe. Just because they're new doesn't mean much.

Have them checked for runout before you move on to other things.
