2019 2500 6.4. On my last oil, pressures were 28-30 at idle and 50-55 while driving. Then I drained the old 0W40 Pennzoil Ultra Plat, tossed the Wix 57060XP and replaced both with the same. Now my idle pressure is 50 and driving peaks at 60.
I've seen those kinds of high pressures before, 2 changes ago. I actually thought there was a problem when it dropped, but I've since read that 28-30 is normal.
What's going on here? What caused this change, and how can I tell if my filter is or was stuck in bypass?
