High beams come on with left signal light

Hi all, I am new here, My name is Ray and purchased my first ever RAM this year. I bought the 3500 Tradesman, Heavy Duty,6.7 Cummins to pull our new 42 foot fifth wheel. I have discovered that whenever I turn on just the left signal light that the high beams come on and stay on until the signal turns off. This happens day or night. Does anyone have any ideas on this? Thanks for any input
