I recently purchased Ram 2500 power wagon and trying to set up warn winch.
By the way what’s the hex key size for warn winch cover?(red box in the attached image)
Is it 12 mm? I can’t find any info in manual.

Thanks in advance!

Thems is Torx.
You shouldn’t need to remove those bolts.

Huh definitely not hex on my late-build 2019

Either way, shouldn’t need to be removed.

Well I’ll be damned.

Looks like the paint finish is smoother too…been thinking about blasting and anodizing/powdercoat mine since it’sa but abrasive on the rope.

The also switched from two “hooks” to just one some time in 2019. Early builds and promo picture builds had 2, but my late build 2019 and all after that have 1 hook

Newbie here!! Just got my first Power Wagon.
Sounds simple...when I look in there, the zip tie is pretty tight and the spool is set far back. Any recommendations on tricks or tools to make it easy?

Figured it out with some help from a member on another thread. Just gotta get under front of truck where you can see the winch rope, cut zip tie, unwind rope and feed through fairlead, and attach hook, then tighten rope. Took me 10 minutes to do.
