I am hoping someone can help with a part number for this harness. We live where we are having problems with rats causing issues with wiring in our vehicles. Have had an intermittent Trailer Brake disconnected error for a month or so now. And my husband has meant to get under there and look for the issue. Well, last night there must have been another rat up there and between it and the dogs trying to get to it, this trailer tow harness did not fare very well. On the plus side, hubby did find the wire that was worn through causing the trailer brake disconnect error every 100 ft or so.
The truck is a 2019 Ram 2500 Big Horn 4x4 Crew Cab 6.4L. It has been the most horrible truck to search for part numbers on. Usually, we have to use 2020 as the year. The harness goes to the trailer receptacle on the back and also the license plate light wires pigtail out of it. Everything I've found online is incorrect and does not have the license plate light wires coming out of it. I believe the receptacle is still good so ignore that piece. I need to use the trailer soon to haul some cows so your help is greatly appreciated!
