Help needed to turn off backup warning sound

I just purchased the Rebel 2500. To my surprise it came with a backup warning like commercial trucks have. Does anyone know how to disable it?

Get under it while someone puts in reverse to find the noise maker, then unplug it.

There should be an option on the EVIC if it’s an OEM backup alarm.

If it’s not OEM you’ll likely have to find and remove it.

Go to DOT settings in the center dash display (the one in the dash with the speedometer) and you can turn it off in there. at least that's how I turned it off on my 3500 DRW

In the EVIC (screen in the gauge cluster) go to the “commercial settings” page the OEM passcode is 0000 then you can cycle the back up alarm on/off
