Help adding led light stripe to OEM led bed light

Adding led light stripe to OEM led bed light won't shut off on a 2022 ram 2500 6.4
I connected the stripe light to the driver side OEM led light they will shut off when you exit the
and lock the doors and come on when you unlock when you start the engine they stay on shutting off at the head light switch don't work or the cab switch anyone know how to fix this.

I'm having a hard time understanding the run-on sentence... sorry.

I added LED strips to my ARE MX cap and tied them directly into the cargo light wires.
The LED strips operate just like the cargo lights so I'm not sure where your lights went sideways.

I tied into the left side light not the switch I think the wiring is different on the 2022 2500 when I disconnected the strip light everything went back to normal.

Ah, I pulled the cargo light on the driver side and followed the wires back to a place where I could splice into them.
