Help - 2022 ram 5” to 8.4” uconnect 5 upgrade

Just got a 2022 ram 3500 tradesman with the small 5” radio thinking I could upgrade

I need part numbers to upgrade my radio. I tried
68453844AF

Mopar site wouldn’t let me order - said to try dealer

My dealer told me they can’t order it without trading it for another 8.4

Any help would be appreciated

Infotainment will sell you a full upgrade kit. BTBRV recently did one for reference -

The issue is with the new uconnect 5 radio

I can’t order the new 2022 8.4 uconnect radios - according to several dealers/ Mopar parts - they need special approval and the old defective 8.4” radio as a core or they can’t order it.

Can I put a uconnect 4 radio in a 2022?
