Hello my name is Casey and from North Dakota. I have been a pretty die hard ram owner since I was 14. I have had 5 half tons trucks starting with a 2008 up to a 2022. I have been wanting to upgrade to an HD for quit some time but after pulling our 5th wheel camper all over and only getting 5mpg with the half tone I knew it was time. After months of searching and multiple phone calls to dealers and banks I was able to pull the trigger on a used HD. So far I'm in love with this truck. It's a 2023 Laramie with the 6.7L. I personally have never had a diesel but my dad has always had a cummins and they have always done very well for us. Super excited to get my 5th wheel hitch installed and get my camper behind it to see how it does.

My To Do List
Install 5th Wheel- Went with B&W it's sitting in my garage just waiting for me to put it in.
Repaint driver door handle
Program 2nd key fob (just waiting on my bypass cable)
Mud flaps
5th Wheel Plug in Box
Lights in cargo box (it has the holes cut for them just not sure how much wire needs to be ran to get them tied into factory plugs)?
Grid Heater Upgrade
Delete Emissions someday when funds allow.

My only concern I really have is I have driven it about 1400 Miles already and have yet to see it do a regen? I'm mostly all highway/interstate miles every day about 25 min drive to work. It stays in a heated garage at home but we have seen some -30's here so at work (i do plug it in) it has been idling for a little to warm up. Def gauge I feel like had gone down maybe a small amount. I have been watching the DPF filter screen and that has yet to get above 0% do I need to be concerned or is it doing it and i just don't notice?

Nice truck. I’ve noticed with mine, when it’s cold out, it typically only regens at the 24 engine hours mark. In the summer my regens vary depending on the driving conditions. If you scroll to the dpf monitor on the dash it will show when a regen is occurring. My dpf gauge often remains on zero when it’s cold outside as well. During the summer I notice much more movement with the dpf gauge.
