I bought a 2023 Ram 3500 SRW 6.7 Cummings Standard, Tradesman Trim, Snow Chief option.
Truck was purchased for dedicated camper rig and a NuCamp Cirrus 820 is on its back about 90% of the time.
First time owning a HD or Diesel truck period. I have driven a lot of them, work and military. So I will be scouring the forums here learning as much as I can about my truck. I will be traveling a good period of the time in remote destinations. New Foundland, Alaska, Northern Canada, and anywhere else I can talk my wife into going. So I will need to play catch up in the preventive maintenance and repair. Anything that you old hands recommend that I need to keep on the rig when we travel would be appreciated. I already figured a set of filters for sure.
Mods that I have done thus far:
Banks Monster Ram intake - to replace the known issue with the grid heater failure that destroys the motor.
Sumo springs front and rear.
Felling wedge rear spring modification to overload spring. ( best bang for buck )
Ranch Hand front end winch ready with front receiver hitch.
APEX 12,000 pound winch with wireless control and direct battery disconnect.
Rear seat delete for garage storage for e-bikes
Waiting to be installed. Toyo M655 295/70/18 Commercial tires.
