Read the forum a few times so I decided to create an account. I live in eastern Michigan between Romeo and Lake Orion on 10 acres. I've got two RAMs, a 2013 Laramie with the Hemi and a 2015 3500 Longhorn SRW Cummins. The 2013 is a leftover from my daily work commute, I'm now retired (automotive engineer). It is hard to get rid of it since I have the lifetime Maxcare $0 deductible on it and it hasn't given me any issues. The 3500 sits in the garage for the winter since I don't pull anything in the winter. In the better weather, the 3500 is pulling something, 40-foot fiver, 16-foot gooseneck dump trailer, 18-foot utility trailer with my tractor/backhoe on it, and finally, my 19-foot fishing boat. Like the 2013 RAM, the 2015 has been trouble-free outside of the recalls and the rear air leveling system going out last year. Lucky for me, I have Maxcare on the 2015 too. The Maxcare on the 3500 expires in April of 2023, 8 years was the longest I could get. I may replace it with a new 2023 3500 or roll the dice and self insure the 2015. The Cummins is factory stock, no deletes, my only concern is if the emissions system goes out and the cost to fix it (retirement income...). With that being said, howdy.
