Thanks for reading, I'm here hoping to do some research on a new 45/5500 truck. I like that you can get some of the nicer features with these trucks. I prefer an 84" CA but I might move to a 60" if I find the right deal. My current truck is a 2012 F450 and it has been a decent truck. I have only owned Fords but thought I would look at other offerings. The interiors of the RAM trucks are very nice, Ford still seems to be rehashing the same dash and is looking less innovating. I just didn't care for the larger cab of the GM MD trucks. Engine access was good; however, they lack features on the inside.
My initial research shows that the engine brake on this truck is by far better than either of the other two. I tow a lot, so that is important to me. Are there any glaring items that folks can point to that will probably have issues with? I am by no means looking to trash anything about these trucks. I just want to know major issues that should be watched for. For example, my current truck, they have oil leaks, turbo problems, as well as CP4 problems etc.
