Currently have a 2011 2500 4wd ram. Have a 2022 3500 srw on order. I tow a new Jayco FBTS Pinnacle. Concerned about losing clearance on top of the bed because of height. Would appreciate it if someone with a 3500 Srw 4wd would post that measurement.

I have a '21 srw 3500 4x4 crew cab short bed I can measure for you tomorrow.

Air suspension or not air?

Should be right around 59" for air ride, 61" for not air. Both will settle at around 59" with a 2500lb load. I don't think you're going to find it any different than the 2011.

That fiver looks to be 16500 GVWR so the non air is going to squat more. The air truck Alt trailer height on the air suspension will lower that 1".

That seems like a lot of trailer for an SRW, what's the pin weight?

Just measured my 2021 3500 4x4 SRW. 57-3/4" from ground to top of tailgate. I'm parked in the street in front of house with right tires in gutter plate, not on flat driveway. It's possible if on flat surface, the height might be a tad taller?

Sorry man, I had few crazy days here. We did a last min camping trip (not with my Ram) when I was done with work and just was able to measure now. Mine came in right at 56.5" but I'm now thinking based on the other numbers above that maybe my suspension has settled/broken in with me towing Monday-Saturday every week right now. The weight of the trailer is on the rear hitch for approx 12hrs each of those days. My truck has 5k miles on it. I also have about 100 lbs of tools in the bed but I wouldn't think that would affect the bed/tailgate hight in any measurable way.

Thanks ND. You guys got me in the ballpark. The tailgate height on HD's across all brands continue to get higher for no logical readon!
Just measured my 2021 3500 RCLB SRW 4x4 at 58-7/8" using a BOSCH GLM 20. Tire pressure is at 45 PSI all around and fuel tank is 3/4 full.
Thank you!
