Heated seat issues

Forgot to add, my steering wheel definitely gets warm. First time I have had a heated steering wheel.

The 2019s have better heating. My 2020 takes quite a while to get warm and I would say it never gets overly hot. I do like that it heats my bum and my back though. My wife's Range Rover got warm very quickly but it felt like it was all in the seat bottom.
My 2020 gets warm pretty darned quick, and I have to turn it down pretty quick.

Mine is definitely older. I am happy with mine but I wish it was a little warmer. I did notice more during our first cool morning.

My Feb 2020 build Limited heated seats work great. Zero complaints. A bit too hot for my liking anyway.

my steering wheel heat works great and the seat will cook your butt on high !Much higher than 94 ≥ More in line with the Sturats .

Such a hit and miss on the heated seats. My 2019 get decently warm on the highest setting, but nowhere near hot (it was built 11/2019). I can't see ever needing to turn it down though. My other vehicle is a 2013 Ford Flex, and those heated seats will damn near fry your nuts after a while. I'd rather it get too hot and have to turn it down, then always yearn for it to get hotter.

My thought is that it's not an issue with hardware, it's an issue with humans and perceived hot and warm feelings.

I have a 2019, I think that the drivers seat is unbearably hot on high, short term tolerable on mid and comfortable long term on low. The steering wheel is intolerable after maybe 3 to 4 minutes of driving.

My wife.... same truck.... seat on high and complaining that "her tushy is cold", steering wheel heat on forever and saying that it's never getting hot enough.

If you suggested to my wife that the seat should be changed to medium or low she would stab you in the eye.

If you told me that I had to keep the steering wheel heat on, or have the seat on more than low... I'll stab you in the eye.

Same seat, 2 wildly different perceptions. I blame this on the seat thing. Now move my wife from car brand and model to another and she will likely like some more and hate others.

My 2020 was built in September. The seats warm up quickly but even on High, they do not get overly hot. The seats in the F150 I traded in definitely got warmer. The seats in my Ram are more like the seats in my wife's Hyundai Santa Fe. Personally, I prefer the way the seats are in my Ram, warm enough to get the job done but not uncomfortable. The steering wheel gets hot and I have to turn that off after a few minutes.

I think there's some difference between the trucks. My wife (who drives the Flex) has also commented that the Ram's seats get warm but hot. So if it's perception, then we both share the same between the two vehicles.

I directly compared the seats to my wife's Range Rover seats. Those seats got very warm. The truck's seats would be similar to medium when compared to those. And they take longer to heat.
