has anyone else missed the older style switch? Where the Auto setting was on the far left, then Off, Park, Lights on? I wish they had left it like that. maybe I'm just old and grumpy. oh well. Jimmy07 have you seen a way to go to the older style?

If you want to get a member's attention (mention) in a post, you have to tag them with an @ sign in front of their member name. The site software will start filling it in as you type to help get the correct case.

Not really. It’s a different shape unit, and you wouldn’t have the second ambient dimmer wheel.

@Jimmy07 , thanks for the reply. I just don't like having to rotate through all the positions. wish there was a way to have Auto and Off beside each other

I prefer the way it is now. My wifes Jeep is that way and I dislike it immensely. I'm not of fan of "auto" lights. highbeams, or wipers.

Why not just leave it on auto? Why would you need to constantly switch it to Off?

I generally set mine to Auto or On. I run with lights on when towing for safety and to power the TPMS repeater.

What I would REALLY like is a way to shut off the damn dash cluster lights and all the headlights/signature lights with the truck running. It appears to be impossible to do.

I run a dash light for the fire dept. in order for it to be high enough to bee seen over the hood, the placement puts it right over the light sensor. So, during the day, with the switch in auto, my headlights are always on.

Most of the guys here put the green flashers in the grill, an option to make life easier…

I would love to be able to dim my 12" screen when in reverse.

Oh, you mean the I"M GOING TO RUN THE REVERSE CAMERA FULL BRIGHT WHEN IT's DARK OUTSIDE and ruin your night vision dim?
If you have dark tint you have to roll the damn windows down if you want to use anything but the reverse cam!
