Thinking about tearing apart the inside side of my engine to clean the EGR related stuff. I don't know what Ram specifies for this but I have 75000 and I think it could be a nice thing to clean out now. Anybody do it? Are you getting a gasket set online?

2013+ there is no service interval for EGR cleaning they say it does not need to be done. If anything I would pop the intake horn off and clean the grid heater thats about it

Intake sensors on that side can’t hurt either. (MAP) I know there is no longer intervals recommended but from some of the pictures I’ve seen around here with your kind of mileage that idea may need revisiting. I got a BD grid kit on the bench so I’ll be interested to see how mine is.

They don't specify a cleaning but the dirtier it is in there the worse my truck will run and the more junk is going into my DPF. I doubt it helps regeneration frequency to have dirty intake tract sending basically sand into the engine. Before I can tear it apart I would want the gaskets on deck. I think the cooler I can just soak with purple power overnight. The rest is gonna take some scraping and shop vac suction...particularly I assume in the intake.

Not feeling comfortable to do this on my own, what would something like this cleaning cost to have a shop do this.

I am not sure regarding outside price. I have a pretty well stocked shop so it will get done in house. When its done I can tell you if I think its a good idea to DIY or not.

If you could also take some pics? Thx

If you want to do it yourself, pull the banks instructions on installing the monster intake. their pictures of the tear down are spot on.

My grid heater wasnt bad when i pulled it at 85k. there is a procedure to cleaning the egr but there are also electronics that shouldnt get wet if i recall. there are youtube videos out there on how to clean it right.

Genos Garage has a parts kit they sell for this. On the page with the parts kit there is a link to instructions with photos on how to do it
