Has anyone went from a 2019 to a 2020? Maybe some little issues are worked out?

I've had lots of little issues with my 2019 Limited that I've never had on any other truck I've owned (9 Rams, 2 Fords) over the years and my dealer is looking to make a deal if they had anything I liked. I found a 2020 Laramie 3500 Night Edition, all black, Cummins, with adaptive steering which I really want to have. I mean it would be a cheaper payment and I could go all black again and make it my project truck. I just wonder if some of the quirks/kinks have been worked out in the 2020s?

That's one of the reasons, I waited a whole year to get my 2020! (little back story I bought myself 07 335i when it just first came out) worst decision ive made but 11 335i barely had any problems compare to 07 335i first year of production is always a little raw and manufacturer works out most of the issues first year or so.. So that's what im hoping for! lol

It's still a crap shoot. Certainly some issues associated with the 19s will be fixed/improved in the 20s but there's no pie-in-the-sky guaranty that you'll get a 'good' 20 just cuz it's year two of the platform. Most will be good, some will be junk. I'd simply offer that given all the issues you've had with your 19, the law of odds dictates that you'll fair better with another truck. Sincerely hope it works out for ya if you do bite the bullet.

The cheaper payment alone is quite a bit of incentive to pull the trigger. Depends of course how much you put down for the 20 unless you're rolling it into the loan.

Not cheaper anymore. They offered me 63k on trade now it’s down to 55k, do that won’t be happening. Ford offered me 60k.

No joke that's a deal breaker.

50 gallon tank was the only reason i needed to wait. Adaptive steering a bonus.

I’d love to have adaptive steering. Maybe I’ll switch to a Ford or wait until FCA gets their act together and puts out a true 5th gen HD
