Hands Free Phone Volume - Outbound

Hi- Currently I have a 2014 2500 with the hands free option. The sound quality / volume is so low the recipient struggles to hear me. My question is .... just a poor quality offering (I have the upgraded model in my 2014, or could it be i am so far from the speaker (I am 5'4 ") and the microphone can't hear me well? Since I have a 2022 on order, I am curious about anyone else's experience using the hands free. Hoping I don't have to seek out a 3rd party booster to use the hands free option going forward (if any has advice on boosters or experiences, I welcome the input) - Thanks ;)
 
Unfortunately I think you're SOL. The mic is up near the dome light and aimed toward the driver, but with road noise and being further from it, it sounds like you're just getting outdone by your surroundings.

I do see that you have a new truck on order, so with the ANC that one should perform much better. I know my 2020 is much better in this arena than my 2016 was.
