I took my truck into the dealer for my 6 month service. I had noticed earlier in the week that my check engine light had come on. I ran a code scan and found out it was the air shutter unit. When I took it in it took about 2 hours for the tech to run down the source of the problem. It appears that one of the wires in the loom had rubbed against metal and broken. He assured me that it wont happen again. problem fixed!
I've had a few minor annoyances like having the key fob in my hand but the truck saying that it wasn't there so I'd push the button with it to start. The service manager told me that cell phone and other radio waves can sometimes interfere with the signal. I also ordered a new Bilstein Hop kit shock because the factory one is pretty much useless. I'm not sure why but my gas milage had dropped quite a bit during the time my air shutters weren't working. I thought maybe it was just winter driving but right after they were fixed my milage went right back up to 15.5mpg.
