Anyone fit a 27F battery in their Ram?
Dimensions are approx the same as the 94R/H7 battery we have, but 1.25” taller. There is clearance, but not sure how it ties down compared to the stock battery, or if the battery cables will reach the extra inch.

Odyssey/Northstar AGM 94R/H7 @ 840CCA / 155min RC vs 27F @ 930CCA / 195min RC

94R/H7 Flooded is only like 730CCA and feels weak starting my Hemi when it’s cold out. Plus I think it has like a 2017 date of manufacture... old inventory in my 2019?

The battery thats in your truck in more than enough cca considering the starter does not even use 1/2 that amperage just get yourself an agm of the same size as factory you will be more than happy i personally like the optima red tops for a good cranking battery

I've always had good luck with red tops myself.

Get a Deka AGM, made in USA. Some of the NAPA, O'Reilly, and Batteries Plus stuff is made by East Penn-Deka, too.

I used to run red tops in my Jeep but the Optima quality went South a number of years back. I went through 3 in 3 years. I switched to Odyssey and have had better luck,

You guys will probably shun me for this but I am running group 31 dual purpose FVP from Menards for the house batteries and couldn't be happier. I'd replace the crank battery with one if it fit the compartment.

I also had good experience with the Deka AGMs. I used be a die hard Odyssey customer but found they just didn’t last for the price they go for based on the last three I bought.
