grate side steps

have a 2020 5500 looking to put a set of grated side steps on it and I am pretty sure the factory mounting holes are the same as the 2500 and 3500. Any verification?

I went to the Luverne website and they have the same part numbers for their grated steps for 3500 and 5500. They are under the 2019 model year though, doesn’t look like they have updated for 2020 with their grated steps yet.

If im not mistaken they have kept the same mounting holes since they came out with the 4th gen cab in 09 so the 20 would fit the same as the 19s

you folks with grate style steps have never had a family member slip out of a truck and across the steps before, have ya?

I have (and like) the deezee nxt steps that have rubber grommets. Great traction. Not deadly. Just a thought.

So true. I still have a quarter sized chunk missing from the skin (down to the bone) of my shin from when my foot slipped off the spiked pedal of my bmx bike after my stupid 10 year old brain decided it was a good idea to ride around town in flip flops (or thongs as they were called back then). Peeled it back like a potato skin.
